Contact
We’re glad to hear from readers — especially if a guide helped, if something reads as out of date, or if there’s a topic you’d like us to cover.
Email us at [email protected] and we’ll read every message, though as a small resource we can’t always reply quickly.
Please note what we can’t do
We are an information resource, not a care service. We can’t give advice about an individual’s medical, care, benefits or legal situation, we can’t arrange care, and we can’t help in an emergency. Please don’t send confidential health or financial details by email.
Where to get real help
For an individual’s needs, these are the right doors to knock on:
- In an emergency — call 999. For urgent but non-emergency health advice, call 111.
- Health or symptoms — the person’s GP, or their pharmacist for medicines questions.
- Care and support — your Health and Social Care Trust in Northern Ireland, or your local council’s adult social services elsewhere, and ask for a needs assessment.
- Benefits and money — Citizens Advice, Age NI or Age UK for a free benefits check.
- Support for carers — Carers NI / Carers UK and your local carers’ centre.
